Chiranjeevi who started his career with Punadi rallu in 1978 went on to do 148 movies till date and won the hearts of millions of Telugu audience. He is an icon now, he is the walking legend of Telugu cinema, and he is the face of Telugu film industry. He has reached to this level with never ending hard work.
In his 30 years of being an actor he has not only delivered some of the biggest hits in film world, he has also given direction to the enthusiasm and energy of his fans and youngsters, by launching his charitable trust that runs a blood bank, and eye bank, and several other social service and development activities.
He has received the Padmabushan award, and several best actor awards both at state level (Nandi Award) and national level (Filmfare, and National Best Actor). |
